You Are An ENFJ |
![]() The Giver You strive to maintain harmony in relationships, and usually succeed. Articulate and enthusiastic, you are good at making personal connections. Sometimes you idealize relationships too much - and end up being let down. You find the most energy and comfort in social situations ... where you shine. In love, you are very protective and supporting. However, you do need to "feel special" - and it's quite easy for you to get jealous. At work, you are a natural leader. You can help people discover their greatest potential. You would make a good writer, human resources director, or psychologist. How you see yourself: Trusting, idealistic, and expressive When other people don't get you, they see you as: Bossy, inappropriate, and loud |
My analysis: I agree with most of this, although there are so many different ways to classify a person. I am outgoing at church and reserved at school so the personal connection thing could apply or not apply depending on the setting. I can be outright abrasive with people sometimes but my general mode de vie is harmonious, in my opinion. Others may feel differently. I really have little reason to believe that I am a jealous person. But then again, I have generally dated guys who were great at giving me a lot of security that they cared about me. Perhaps if I had not dated such kind people I'd feel differently. I am not sure I see myself as trusting, but definitely idealistic and expressive. I could be wrong, but I don't think many people see me as inappropriate (but bossy and loud...I can see it.)

I'd say a lot of that is true about you. I wouldn't describe you as bossy, loud, or inappropriate, though.
According to that quiz, I'm an ISFJ. (I took it a second time, changing some of the borderline answers, and that time I was an ISTJ.)
I've had various results with these kinds of tests. About the only one that doesn't change is the I. That's definitely true.
I retook it changing a few of the borderline answers and I came out as an ENFP. The ENF part seems to be pretty consistent. When I looked up the more in depth explanations, this actually fit me really well. But I am definitely a lot less P than a lot of people.

Hehe!!! I just took the test and sure enough, the confusion as to whether I'm an extrovert or an introvert continues! Honestly, I think I can relate more to the ENFP overall, but according to the little quiz, I'm a dead-ringer for an INFP (like 20 Extrovert vs 80 Introvert). Introvert or extrovert - perhaps the confusion is all part of my charm.
Although, in keeping with my tendency to not like label/boxes, perhaps I should just accept that fact that I'm a hybrid. Why choose between E and I? Eeesh! Did I just use the word 'hybrid'? I've been in the greenhouse too much..
According to this test, my personality is a lot like the daily special in an ice cream parlor. The ice cream may be different every day, but will always be a dairy product. I've taken the questionnaire four times resulting in a different personality every time. But, I have consistently been an Introvert – INTP, INTJ, ISFP, and the flavor of the day this time around is an INFP. I agree with much of the description and would adamantly deny other parts of it, but I could probably say the same for much of the descriptions for those personalities I’ve previously been identified as. I expect that my desultory personality will continually be inconsistent. Except for the Introvert/Extravert personality type, I am never more than a couple borderline questions (answered under duress, having to pick something) from changing the results.
P.S. Those who know me will find great humor in the following snippet from the description of my current personality flavor: “INFPs do not like to deal with hard facts and logic.”
Crutches/Dairy Product,
I see you as an ISTJ. You love people but you are a natural introvert. I think you could flop between an S and a N. I don't know if you are one to think in terms of patterns or not but if you are deeply philosophical you aren't often expressive about it. I strongly think you are a T over an F. You are a person of deep emotion but you regulate yourself highly by logic. I didn't get a good explanation on J vs. P but I really think you are a J in the way you interact with the world. However, I can see why you would flip-flop in your outcomes.
I don't know you as well as many others on this blog, but I can see that a lot of this is true about you. You seem to be very people centered and you are most certainly a giver.
I haven't taken it yet, but I'm off to try.
